PROJECT: BLOKKER HOLDING

 

De Meermakers were appointed as project lead for the HR workflow within two major projects regarding the transformation of the Blokker retail organization;

  • Closing 100 Blokker stores including advising the management board, preparing the request for advice to the Works Council, providing guidance and coordinate the information and consultation process, communication and execution of the closing of 100 stores.
  • Closure of the Blokker Distribution Centre (DC) in Mijdrecht including advising the management board, preparing the request for advice to the Works Council, providing guidance and coordinate the information and consultation process, communication and execution of closing down the DC. In addition, we supervised and executed the partial take-over of the DC by a third party.
  • In both information & consultation processes with the Works Council we reached a positive advice within the deadlines. Execution was achieved within the set planning and budget without formal legal procedures or dismissal procedures at the UWV.
